William began his career as Independent Landman in Midland in 1997 after graduating from Midwestern State University in Wichita Falls, TX. In 2011, Mr. Fricker returned to the Permian Basin to join Concho Resources, having spent the past seven years working for EOG Resources primarily in the Fort Worth Division concentrating in the Barnett Shale the Tyler Division and the Haynesville Shale play in East Texas. In 2012, he joined Piedra Operating L.L.C. as Land Manager. William has been an active member of the AAPL and the PBLA, as well as the FWAPL and DAPL while living in the Dallas/Fort Worth metroplex area. William served four years on the DAPL Board of Directors which included serving as President for the 2007 – 2008 year term.
William and his wife, Degen, have three children, twin girls, Claudia and Keaton (13) and a son Copeland (8). William and Degen have been married 15 years and currently share the same weekend hobby: part time cab driver and part time ATM machine for the kids.
