Greg graduated with a BBA with a focus in Energy Management from the University of Oklahoma and went directly into working for ConocoPhillips Company in Midland in 2006. At ConocoPhillips, he was an in-house Landman in the Ft. Worth Basin in North TX, exploring and developing the Barnett Shale. He left ConocoPhillips in mid-2008 to take an in-house Landman position at Rosetta Resources, Inc. in Houston. While at Rosetta, he worked in all phases of land, including divestitures and acquisitions, lease acquisitions, preparation of contracts, examination of complex title, and formation of federal and state units. He left Rosetta in early 2011 to take an in-house Sr. Landman position at Talisman Energy USA Inc. in The Woodlands. While at Talisman, he worked in the Eagle Ford Business Unit, exploring and developing the Eagle Ford Shale. He left Talisman in late 2011 to take an in-house Sr. Landman position at Concho Resources Inc. in Midland. In late 2013 he was promoted to his current role as Land Lead of a division of Concho’s NM Basin team. Greg received his CPL designation in 2012, is a member of the AAPL, NMLA, and became a member of the PBLA in 2006. He is married to Lindsey and they have a two-year old daughter, Ireland, two-month old son, Ledger, and a dog, Wrigley. He spends all his free time with his family, watching college football, fishing, or reading. He is a grateful member of his local church and an active participant in the community.
